We all do it. I do it alot. Ex does it, my dad's a champion at it. Putting off things to be done until the last minute where they either get done eventually, or it all blows up in your face and you're left picking up the pieces because there wasn't enough time to get whatever it was, done.
I'm currently procrastinating doing my son's acceptance letter for his education visa for next year. Last week, I plain forgot about it. Now I've got to do it this week. I want to do it now but it's fucking pouring outside and when I go to the school, there is no guarantee the guru besar (big teacher a.k.a. the Principal) will be there anyway.
I used to procrastinate a lot more in my younger days - mostly out of fear of failure. Why? I don't know, but if it wasn't something I'd done before, I'd put it way down on the list of things to do. I don't know how I ever got overseas to visit Ex (20 years ago), but I do know I was highly motivated back then.
I'm also putting off visiting the dentist. I know I've got to go and not just for a check up. I need 'work'. I've been putting it off for the three years since we've arrived. It's cheaper here and the dentists all have qualifications from overseas. So I don't know what I'm worried about. Oh, wait a minute, yes, it's going to hurt.
Anyway, a trivial post to fill in 10 minutes. The rain is starting to slow down, so now it's time to go and see the guru besar at my daughter's school.
Cheers

hope the guru besar was there. lazy so and so if he wasn't!
and re the dentist - just do it. maybe it won't hurt. ask for lots of numbing and better to get it done there if it's cheaper.
i expect a full guru besar (can't stop saying that) and dental report!
