My boy is one of those kids who, when he likes something, he just loves it sooooo much. If he thinks a meal is nice, he'll tell you it's the best meal he's ever eaten. Hence todays words, after I picked him and his sister up from school.
Upon spying the shopping...
Him: "Hey mum, are those fries (frozen chips)?"
Me: "yes, I thought I'd make some fries, salad and some baked chicken for dinner."
Him: "Wow, that sounds delicious. And is that butterscotch bread (sweet bread I use for a snack)?
Me: "yes it is, you can take some to school tomorrow. Oh and guess what's for dessert?"
Him: "Chocolate?"
Me: "Almost. Chocolate cake. I bought some today and I thought we'd have some after dinner"
Him: "Oh mum, with breakfast (toast), and the lunch (leftover pasta) and now this dinner...this has to be the best day of my life ever!"
Me: "That's wonderful sweetie" - smiling all the way home!!!
