I've just read this post... dreams and realised what an idiot I can be. In it, I talk about dreaming about me and ex and how I can accept that they are what they are - just dreams, not to be taken seriously. And what did I do? Go and tell ex about my thoughts of wanting to get back together. Unbelievable. Sometimes I think I deserve what I get I mean, how can I forget something written so recently. How can I contradict myself so badly?
Uggh, I make myself sick.

Don't be too hard on yourself. We are all idiots at times. It's just that you're torn, and that's understandable. Just best not to say it to him, because it's too confronting for him. I have never had the conversation with my ex about how sorry we might be it all didn't work out. We may never get to that. I don't think my parents ever have. It doesn't mean you want to be back together, it's just a sorrow or remorse for what was, and what might have been. A sadness. It's ok to feel sad.
You just have to be very careful about not handing over ammunition which could be used against you.

Wise words Melba. I'm starting to realise the part about not giving him ammunition to use against me. I hadn't considered this before because in quiet moments he's told me things about himself that I could use against him and I took it as a sort of agreement that we wouldn't use this stuff against each other. But I could be wrong. I'll be more careful. Thanks.

Don't trust 100% it's not worth the risk. And remember you're in his country, and it's a country which would protect him against you. You know the Jacqueline Pasquarle story don't you? Different circumstances, but same country.
