An Australian mum living in a difficult (but not abusive) domestic situation, overseas in Malaysia. My life is a roller coaster of emotion, depending upon how I happen to be coping at the time. In between rantings, whinging and learning to deal with life, I also teach kids with special learning needs and have things to say on what life is like here. It's a brutally honest blog, so proceed to read with caution.

Because we grow accustomed to familiarity whether it be having someone in near proximity or not. We respond to change. There is an old song in which he sings "I've grown accustomed to her face" as he laments the fact that she is not around. Even though they argued all the time and he was mean too her. Favoirite shoe, not because it is the best but because you know how it feels. I'm probably totaly wrong but hey you know how I like to ramble. Love Pete

Thanks Pete. I just wish it wasn't so. I find it so hard to feel any other way.
