Want some fresh goat?
I've just come from buying our lunch today at the local chinese pork and rice shop. On the way back I saw something, an animal tied to a pole standing next to a truck. Hmmm, what could that be, that's new. Driving closer, I realised that the truck was a small lorry and on the back of it hung huge pieces of meat - half a carcass, legs and other 'strips'. The animal was a goat, which immediately brought to mind that scene from Jurassic Park where they use the goat as a fresh food source for the monster dinosaur. Anyway, I wasn't sure if they were using the goat as a gimmick to attract people to buy the 'too fresh' meat or if they were planning to kill it and sell it, should their current stock run out. People, seriously? There's a wet market down the road, not 5 minutes away and you choose to sell your meat on the corner of a dusty road - out in the sun, no water, no refrigeration and no cover.
OMG! Really, there is no end to what and where people will try to sell you things here.
